With a master's degree in Fashion Curation from the London College of Fashion, Élise began her career as an archivist for the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. She later served as a guest curator for exhibitions at the V&A and The Met's Costume Institute. Élise is the author of the critically acclaimed book, 'The Weaver's Hand: A Century of Parisian Haute Couture,' which chronicled the evolution of artisanal crafts. At Chez La Modiste, she pens our most in-depth historical features, connecting the threads of the past to the trends of the present.
